About the Role

Pactiv Evergreen is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team in Turlock, California. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our manufacturing operations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment, and driving business results through effective talent management and labor relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives and improve employee engagement.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, including labor relations, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership to develop and implement training programs, performance management systems, and employee development initiatives.
  • Manage and resolve employee grievances and complaints, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with union representatives, ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations on disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote a culture of respect and inclusion.
  • Provide support for recruitment and hiring efforts, ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate pool.
  • Manage and maintain accurate HR records, including employee data, benefits, and performance information.
Requirements
  • 4-year undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SPHR/PHR Certification and/or SHRM CP/SCP desired.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in labor relations, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
What We Offer

Pactiv Evergreen offers a competitive salary range of $92,700 - $154,500, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with dollar-for-dollar match, and paid time off.
