We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Strategist for Behavioral Health to join our team at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance in behavioral health operations and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve behavioral health services for our clients.
• Provide leadership and guidance to our behavioral health team to ensure effective program delivery and management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address behavioral health needs and develop solutions to improve outcomes.
• Develop and manage budgets and resources to support behavioral health programs and services.
• Supervise and mentor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality behavioral health services.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in behavioral health to inform program development and improvement.
• Represent the department at external meetings and events to promote our behavioral health services and build partnerships.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, or public health.
• At least 5 years of experience in behavioral health leadership or management.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles, practices, and research.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
