Job Overview

Ace/Avant Concrete Construction Co. is seeking a highly skilled Benefits and HR Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing and administering diverse facets of employee benefits and HR functions while fostering a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, resolving benefit-related inquiries and providing guidance.
  • Administer FMLA, short-term and long-term leave, and Cobra in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the HR Director to develop and implement effective HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including interviewing candidates, conducting background checks, and facilitating onboarding processes.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferably). Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Strong understanding of benefit administration, leave of absence management, and human resources principles.
  • Two- five years of HR experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • SHRM-CP certification is an asset.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
