Job Overview
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist seeks an experienced Patient Safety Improvement Specialist to support day-to-day continuous patient safety operations for the region. This role collaborates with key stakeholders and Quality teammates to optimize the safety culture across the system.

In this critical position, you will facilitate patient safety efforts, coach others in process redesign and measurement, and provide direction to department and business unit leadership on a systematic approach to continuous improvement. You will also develop close working relationships with senior Quality leadership, business unit leaders, executives, and medical staff to achieve quality and patient safety goals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 4-6 years of experience in healthcare or a related field, and expertise in high reliability organizing principles, safety science, and human factors. Certification in healthcare quality, patient safety, or a related regulatory entity is preferred.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with resources to facilitate improvement teams, demonstrate mastery of facilitation skills, data analysis, and statistical process control, and drive excellence in patient safety initiatives.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $93,500-$115,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
