About the Job
Advanced Practice House Calls LLC seeks a detail-oriented and bilingual Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team in an office-based role. As an Administrative Healthcare Professional, you will manage primarily administrative and clerical tasks to support Nurse Practitioners who visit patients in their homes. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth communication, managing schedules, and maintaining patient records.

Job Summary
This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and handle workload in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional phone etiquette. Spanish fluency is required to effectively assist our diverse patient population. Responsibilities include scheduling and confirming patient appointments, verifying insurance, labeling and filing medical records, and assisting healthcare providers with administrative tasks. You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with patients, providers, and other staff members, recognizing emergencies, and escalating appropriately. Additionally, you will provide basic patient education as instructed by healthcare providers.

Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $15.50 per hour, based on experience, a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with no on-call or weekend duties, paid official holidays, 6 PTO/sick days per year, paid training, and opportunities for career advancement.
