Position Summary

The Machinery Repair Technician operates under the guidance of the Factory Supervisor, responsible for the upkeep of assigned machinery to reduce downtime and ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery.
  2. Diagnoses and repairs machinery issues as they arise.
  3. Assists in the setup and installation of new machinery.
  4. Coordinates with external technical support for issue resolution when necessary.
  5. Participates in training to remain current on effective machine servicing techniques.
  6. Monitors machinery for quality control issues and addresses them promptly.
  7. Maintains inventory levels of parts and supplies based on machinery count.
  8. Orders additional parts and supplies to ensure inventory is replenished.
  9. Keeps a detailed maintenance log documenting issues and solutions.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in machinery maintenance and circuit board repair.
  2. Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  3. Strong mechanical aptitude.
  4. Willingness to be on call, including weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Hourly wage ranging from $22.10 to $25.00, based on experience.
  2. Health, dental, and vision insurance options available.
  3. 401k retirement plan with employer matching up to 4%.
