Patient Care Technician

Job Summary:
Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our Med Surg team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily activities, and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care, including vital sign monitoring and documentation
- Assist licensed staff and physicians with patient care and procedures
- Perform clerical and public relations functions, including reception and visitor direction
- Transcribe orders and coordinate patient services and tests
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of six months of work experience preferred
- CNA certification and/or completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited Nursing Curriculum with the intention to complete a nursing degree required
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required
