Job Overview

The NBCUniversal social marketing division is in search of a dedicated Insights and Analytics Manager who possesses a strong affinity for both unscripted and scripted programming. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in social media analytics and adept in utilizing reporting tools such as Dash Hudson, Sprout, and TalkWalker. This role involves transforming performance metrics, including social listening and campaign data, into actionable insights that will inform social strategies and enhance content engagement and growth over time.

The successful candidate will also have a proven track record of effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, including brand and creative teams, as well as external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of both short-term and long-term brand and campaign performance metrics, translating them into actionable insights. Provide social listening and sentiment analysis reports for programming across all NBCUniversal cable entertainment networks. Conduct competitive analysis within the social media landscape. Establish social media goals and KPIs across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and emerging channels. Foster and maintain relationships, processes, and project timelines with internal teams across Creative, Media, Brand, Talent Relations, and Communications, as well as with external partners to ensure timely delivery of social reporting aligned with business priorities. Collaborate closely with the Director of Social Marketing to monitor performance and share insights that align with established objectives and KPIs. Potential to extend social marketing support to other NBCUniversal brands.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 years of experience in social media analytics and marketing, with a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends. Proficiency in social media analytics tools such as Dash Hudson, TalkWalker, and Sprout Social, with the ability to convert data into actionable insights. Strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X, particularly in content ideation, copywriting, and publishing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational teams. Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Desired Attributes:

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects. Must be located within a reasonable commuting distance to NBCUniversal offices.

Additional Information:

This position is designated as hybrid, requiring in-office contributions at least three days per week.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)
