Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will develop personalized treatment plans to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct speech therapy services and document the delivery of care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLP-As) in the outpatient setting.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • License: Active Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathology license, or eligible for temporary licensure. Temporary license holders must obtain full licensure within the required time frame.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required or must be completed within the first year (under CFY supervision).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred. Experience with outpatient services, pediatric feeding, dysphagia management, and VitalStim certification preferred.
  • BLS Certification: Required.
