Position Overview

Avante at Boca Raton, Inc. is in search of a Director of Social Services to serve as a key advocate for the social needs of our residents. This role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing the comprehensive operations of the Social Services Department, ensuring compliance with both federal and state regulations. The Director will work closely with the Administrator to guarantee that the individual psycho-social requirements of our residents are effectively addressed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Social Services Department in alignment with current healthcare standards.
  • Ensure that the psycho-social needs of residents are met on a personalized basis.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related fields such as Sociology, Psychology, or Rehabilitation Counseling is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Long Term Care settings.
  • At least one year of supervised Social Work experience in a healthcare environment, working directly with individuals.
