Job Title: Technology Support Specialist III

Join the Eugene School District 4J team as a Technology Support Specialist III and play a crucial role in providing technical support to our schools and departments.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position that requires a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our schools and departments, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining and monitoring computer systems and networks, and providing training and support to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide technical support to schools and departments, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  2. Maintain and monitor computer systems and networks, including servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  3. Provide training and support to staff and students on the use of computer hardware and software.
  4. Collaborate with other technical staff to resolve complex technical issues.
  5. Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our technical systems.
  6. Participate in the development and implementation of technical policies and procedures.
  7. Provide technical support to staff and students on the use of software applications and other technical tools.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues and improve the overall technical infrastructure of the district.
Requirements:
  1. Two-year Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience and knowledge.
  2. Three years of advanced-level experience supporting Apple and Windows desktop computers in an education or enterprise environment.
  3. Valid Oregon Class C driver's license.
