The Role:

As a Prototype Manufacturing Technician, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our product ideas to life. You will be responsible for assembling prototypes, iterating, and refining them to align with our evolving vision. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who thrives on creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Our Electromechanical Engineer: You will work closely with our talented electromechanical engineer, who will be both a collaborator and mentor. Together, you will tackle challenges and refine prototypes as we innovate and build.
  • Make a Real Impact: This is more than just a gig – it's a chance to be part of something transformative, with the opportunity to grow into a more significant role as the company scales.
  • Flexible In-Person Schedule: You will need to be onsite at our SF office once a week for 8-10 hours, or twice a week for 4-5 hours, depending on your availability.
  • This role is ideal for someone looking to contribute to an exciting, cutting-edge project while balancing other commitments.
  • Compensation: $30/hour

Requirements:

  • Prototyping Experience: You have a strong background in turning concepts into prototypes quickly and efficiently.
  • Hands-On Problem Solver: You love building, tinkering, and experimenting with tools, materials, and technology.
  • Adaptable & Creative: You are comfortable with ambiguity, and you excel at pivoting and finding inventive solutions to new challenges.
