We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA Animal Hospitals. As the face of our organization, this individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and setting the tone for our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Functions: Greet visitors, answer telephones, and guide clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Scheduling and Confirmation: Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with clients and staff.
- Outbound Calls: Place follow-up calls to clients and prospective clients to build relationships and promote our services.
- Financial Transactions: Present and explain fees, process payments, and recommend products and services.
- Product and Service Knowledge: Educate clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care, including heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control.
- Medical Records Management: Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Hospital Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including removal of animal waste and ensuring the facility is neat and clean at all times.
- Availability: Must be available to work 30-40 hours per week, with shifts between 8am - 7:30pm and a few Saturdays per month.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
