The Cotton Patch is seeking a dedicated Cashier for the morning shift. This role involves operating cash registers, electronic scanners, and other related tools to facilitate monetary transactions with patrons.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful applicant will be reliable and trustworthy, possessing outstanding customer service abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Shift Details:
The working hours for this position are from 4:30 AM to 12 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Interaction: Welcome customers as they arrive and address any inquiries they may have. Assist customers in finding products and resolving any issues that arise.
2. Financial Transactions: Handle payments in cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for purchased items. Ensure precision in transactions by reconciling the cash register at the start and conclusion of the shift. Process all returns or exchanges in accordance with store policies.
3. Maintenance and Stocking: Keep the workspace clean and organized while restocking items as necessary.
4. Food Preparation: Assist in kitchen duties, including pizza preparation and cooking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in operating cash registers, calculators, and scanners.
- Basic mathematical skills for making change and processing refunds.
- Familiarity with the company's products, services, and customer policies.
Benefits:
Benefits may be available after a period of three months.
Compensation:
Starting pay is $10 per hour and may increase based on experience.
