Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy.

• Assist the pharmacist in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including the use of automated dispensing systems and cash registers.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and prescription data.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
