Cashier Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Talladega College. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, processing payments, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process cash, check, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash handling area and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with student accounts and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the coordinator.

Requirements:

An associate degree is preferred, and some college accounting courses are a plus. Experience in customer service and cashiering is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets, is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
