Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - Ventilation Specialist

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Ventilation Specialist. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in need of ventilation support.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist - Ventilation Specialist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in alternate sites, including homes and healthcare facilities. You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in need of ventilation support, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care and support.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree from an AMA-approved respiratory program.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver's license.
Working Conditions:

The Respiratory Therapist - Ventilation Specialist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing care to patients in a variety of settings. You will be required to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, and stoop, and be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.
