Join a committed team that includes operational support, software developers, quality assurance testers, business analysts, product managers, and scrum masters to effectively prioritize and deliver high-quality solutions for Treasury Forecasting and Cash Reporting clients. The Analyst will provide support for both the Office of Fiscal Projections (OFP) and the Cash Reporting Branch (CRB). OFP is responsible for generating forecasts of U.S. Government cash flows and the total amount of Federal debt outstanding. CRB is tasked with gathering receipt and expenditure data from federal agencies and producing the Daily Treasury Statement (DTS), which encapsulates the daily cash and debt operations of the Treasury. You will be responsible for application support related to Cloud technology solutions, which includes application monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, resolving intricate technical challenges, and developing standardized maintenance protocols. You will report directly to the application production operations manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee infrastructure health, system data interfaces, and data ingestion processes utilizing observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, and OpenSearch)
  • Examine application, infrastructure, and user logs during incidents and to meet security compliance requirements
  • Address system observability alerts and user feedback by providing initial support for business operations to guarantee application availability across all environments
  • Collaborate with application development and infrastructure support teams to troubleshoot application issues, implement release builds, assist in testing, and coordinate disaster recovery efforts
  • Diagnose complex system problems, prepare customer communications including ongoing status updates, and conduct analyses on customer impact and root causes
  • Track requests, incidents, and change activities (scheduling, approvals, customer communications, change tickets, documentation)
  • Ensure that applications adhere to operational processes supporting security, audit, and business continuity compliance
  • Engage directly with federal agencies, financial institutions, and vendors to resolve complex application and interface challenges
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (24x7) shared among operational support team members
Qualifications
  • B.A., B.S. or other undergraduate degree with a focus in: Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey instructions and solutions to internal staff and external clients
  • AWS certification or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficient in crafting ad-hoc database scripts
  • Ability to understand and trace transaction, batch, and file processing flows
  • Strong technical aptitude with the capability to coordinate and ensure successful deployments
  • Analyze technical issues and communicate effectively with audiences of varying technical expertise
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Everbridge, Apptio, CloudWatch, DBHawk, Athena, Grafana, or OpenSearch is advantageous
  • Experience in maintaining infrastructure solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and programming with Python
  • Minimal travel required (less than 5%)
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory
