Trailer Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Review work orders against finished trailers to ensure they meet all specifications.
- Inspect trailers for physical, mechanical, and visual defects, using a tape measure and other hand tools as needed.
- Verify that all warning decals, logo decals, and VIN tags are properly placed on all trailers.
- Ensure that tire information is included on all trailers.
- Confirm that all departments prior to final inspection have inspected their own work and signed off on applicable items.
- Approve or reject trailer quality as needed, and complete minor repairs when possible.
- Participate in warranty or quality discussions to troubleshoot any quality issues.
- Assist in other areas and perform other duties as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent relevant skills and experience.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to read work orders and complete paperwork/documents thoroughly.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
- Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding regularly.
- Must be able to use various hand tools, drills, caulk guns, chemicals, and other equipment as needed.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
- Minimal lifting up to 25 pounds is required.
- Occasional exposure to dust and chemicals.
- Must be able to be on feet for extended periods.
- Must be able to wear all required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, and steel-toe footwear.
