A forward-thinking health services organization in New York City is seeking a seasoned Governance Specialist to drive strategic growth. This critical role will oversee the development and implementation of governance structures that support enterprise-wide standardization, consistency, and cost-effectiveness of IT solutions and investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technology governance policies and frameworks to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with a team of Policy Analysts to review and update governance policies and procedures, reflecting changes in technology, business operations, and regulatory environments.
  • Lead the development and promotion of enterprise-wide technology standards to enhance overall efficiency, security, and performance.
  • Develop strategies and capabilities to facilitate the reuse of technology assets and promote efficiency across the organization.
  • Implement processes to ensure all technology solutions adhere to technical policies and standards.
  • Work closely with business units and technology leaders to ensure effective governance framework implementation across the organization.
  • Develop a communication strategy to effectively communicate governance council decisions and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing policy governance in an enterprise environment, including publishing policies and standards related to Architecture, Security, Data, Mobile Device, Desktop Technologies, and Change Management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of technology standards, policies, and regulatory compliance relevant to the industry.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and work effectively with stakeholders to understand technical concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with tools like SharePoint, Rally, ServiceNow, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project, and Policy Management tool.
  • Familiarity with the latest technologies and trends, particularly those relevant to the Healthcare industry.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
