Fertility Nurse Specialist

At RMA Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Fertility Nurse Specialist. This individual will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our fertility patients throughout their journey.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the effectiveness of our patient care team by identifying and addressing patient care issues, providing information and commentary pertinent to patient care plans, and recommending possible options and courses of action as appropriate.
• Implement patient diagnostic and clinical treatment plans in accordance with patient-identified needs and treatment goals, serving as a liaison between providers, patients, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate services and resolve patient problems and concerns.
• Provide care for assigned patients following RMA Network protocols and standard procedures, applying appropriate workflows, following charting processes, and maintaining performance benchmarks.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients, anticipating their anxieties, and answering questions and concerns.
• Provide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey, setting appropriate expectations, educating patients on available testing and treatment options, and RMA Network processes, and providing supplemental educational resources as appropriate through the Patient Education Hub and other available platforms.
• Follow up on and communicate laboratory values and semen analysis, embryology, and genetic results to patients, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMR system, ensuring documentation meets current legal standards and policies.
• Participate in the orientation of new personnel, precepting and mentoring peers, promoting collaborative teamwork, and maintaining a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally and inter-departmentally.
• Adapt to changing patient or organizational priorities, demonstrating ability and willingness to self-motivate, prioritize, and change processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements:
• BSN Degree or active RN license without limitations - required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - required
• Flexibility to work weekdays with weekends and rotational holidays - required
• Excellent listening, counseling, interpersonal, and communications skills to manage sensitive patient situations properly - required
• 2-3 years' experience as an RN - Prior experience in women's healthcare - preferred
• BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification - preferred
• High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - preferred
• Travel to either HQ located in Basking Ridge or satellite offices - as needed
Must travel to BR for weekend/holidays
