Nurse Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and mission-driven Nurse Specialist to join our team at New Vista of the Bluegrass, Inc. Our Nurse Specialists work in collaboration with our beautiful campus-style setting to provide high-quality care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The successful candidate will perform nursing duties, administer medication and treatment, and supervise LPNs in executing physicians' orders and proper nursing procedures. They will also investigate and report on unusual incidents involving resident care and interact with residents and families to explain treatment.

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a state Nursing Board in the Compact State Agreement
  • Valid driver's license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance
  • Ability to meet criminal background, drug screening, and COVID-19 vaccine standards
