Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

We are actively hiring for an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health and will be responsible for assessing patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.

The ideal candidate will develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care and will serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for promoting the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health and will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.


Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and will have at least one year of experience in the operating room and/or medical/surgical nursing.

The ideal candidate will also hold current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing and will have completed Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or will have documentation of current BLS certification.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services.

Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.


Compensation:

The successful candidate will be compensated at a rate of USD $42.00 per hour, with the potential for up to USD $53.00 per hour based on experience and performance.
