Job Title: ASIC Design Engineer

SambaNova Systems is seeking a highly skilled ASIC Design Engineer to join our team. As an ASIC Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge machine learning accelerator chips.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define block-level architecture and microarchitecture
  • Collaborate with architects and software teams to develop new features and improve application performance
  • Code, debug, integrate, and support RTL design throughout the chip lifecycle
  • Work with the design verification team to converge design functionality and performance
  • Work with the physical design team to converge frequency, area, and power
Requirements:
  • BS in EECS (or related discipline) with computer architecture or ASIC design focus. MS/PhD preferred
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture, deep learning, microarchitecture/logic design, and linear algebra
  • Proficient with HDL languages such as SystemVerilog/Verilog/VHDL/Chisel
  • Strong collaborator with excellent communication skills
