Overview

Titan Security Group is actively seeking dedicated Security Patrol Officers to oversee various sites within the Taylor & Romulus region. Available roles encompass mobile patrol and access control, with shifts to suit all schedules.

Role Summary

As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities through diligent patrols and monitoring. Your main duties will include executing mobile patrols, observing designated zones, and upholding security measures to avert unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or any potential security threats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobile Patrols: Carry out regular patrols of assigned areas, which may include parking lots, building perimeters, and sensitive access points, either on foot or using designated security vehicles.
  • Checkpoint Monitoring: Conduct scheduled checkpoints utilizing mobile device scans and QR codes to verify that restricted areas remain secure and that access is limited to authorized personnel.
  • Surveillance: Employ surveillance tools and maintain heightened situational awareness to promptly identify and address any suspicious activities or security risks.
  • Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical situations, or security breaches, adhering to established protocols.
  • Reporting: Accurately document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in written reports, maintaining detailed logs of patrols and noteworthy occurrences.
  • Collaboration: Effectively coordinate and communicate with fellow security personnel, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth security operations.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional assistance and support to employees, visitors, and guests as needed, while maintaining a courteous demeanor.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of security equipment, including vehicles, communication devices, and surveillance systems.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security-related fields is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is beneficial but not required. Candidates demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to security protocols will be considered.
  • Physical Fitness: Capability to perform regular patrols on foot or by vehicle, often in outdoor settings and varying weather conditions. Must be able to stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move objects.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information and documenting security incidents.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent observational skills and attention to detail are vital for identifying potential security threats and ensuring thorough reporting.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to think critically and respond calmly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to adapt to changing security needs.

Additional Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background checks.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, with hourly wages ranging from $11.00 to $15.00.
