Job Summary:

DK Security is a leading provider of security services, dedicated to protecting people and assets. As a Uniform Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect the site's building, grounds, assets, employees, and visitors against criminal activity, accidents, fires, and natural disasters.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the site, including foot patrols, vehicle patrols, and remote monitoring.
  • Document security, safety, and maintenance issues and report them to the Site Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and secure operation.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be of good moral character and have the ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and annually thereafter.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and write in the English language and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions, and reports.
  • Intermediate computer skills required, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be physically and mentally sound.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Must be able to reach with hands and arms and to hold objects.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for 8-12 hour shifts, including walking long distances and possibly up and down stairs.
  • Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations.
  • Must be able to work in or outdoors during all seasons.
  • Must be able to hear conversations in noisy environments.
