Physical Therapist Role

MUSC seeks a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a physical therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients recovering from injury, disease, surgery, or other ailments.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients using a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain and help them recover
Establish treatment plans based on individual patient needs
Work cooperatively with physicians, case managers, and insurance adjusters to ensure comprehensive care
Document and report on patients' progress regularly
Requirements
Doctorate degree or equivalent in Physical Therapy with Minimum of 1 year experience OR Equivalent Work Experience: 4-6 years
Active Physical Therapist Licensure
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
Salary and Benefits
$63,548 - $84,151 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
