Physical Therapist Specialist

We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Washington Clinic. This role will involve evaluating and providing patient care that aligns with our organization's standards and values.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining alignment with our 8 core values
- Collaborating effectively as a member of the healthcare team
- Ensuring confidentiality of patient and physician-related information
- Pursuing ongoing professional growth and development through continuing education programs and learning experiences
- Maintaining safety and infection control standards, recognizing and reporting any inferior patient care or safety hazards
- Evaluating patients according to physician orders and administering appropriate treatments
- Completing timely reports on evaluation, daily treatments, and discharge, ensuring effective communication with referral sources regarding their respective patients
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Interpreting and reporting treatment results
- Assigning and supervising tasks as needed to support staff
- Participating in the development and implementation of programs and services
- Practicing physical therapy consistently with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
- Maintaining a patient treatment schedule consistent with facility needs and leadership guidelines
- Respecting and understanding patient rights to treatment and involvement in treatment decisions
- Contribution to marketing efforts through relationship building with clients and annual article submission
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse individuals
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
- Capacity to respond to patient inquiries or complaints
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters
- Exercise high degree of initiative and independent judgment in solving problems
- Willingness to practice physical therapy consistently with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in physical therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensure or eligibility for State of MO PT license
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and EMR systems
