Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques, ensuring accurate and efficient specimen collection.
- Process and prepare blood samples for laboratory testing, adhering to strict quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Operate EKG and Spirometry equipment, performing routine calibrations and maintenance to ensure accurate results.
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and laboratory personnel to ensure seamless specimen collection and processing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of specimen collection, processing, and testing results.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited phlebotomy training program preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in a hospital or clinic setting, with a focus on phlebotomy and laboratory services.
- CPR/BLS certification required; bilingual skills in English/Spanish a plus.
- Competitive hourly rate of $20.02.
