We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practice Manager to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a Clinical Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice, ensuring that all aspects of patient care are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Directly supervise all non-physician staff within the practice
- Work closely with Steward Medical Group Human Resources staff to perform interviewing, hiring, staff training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions
- Manage the re-employment of staff to provide coverage and/or arrange for emergency float coverage of office management, medical assistants, RNs, and secretaries as required
- Assist in preparing and managing the operating budget for the practice, investigating discrepancies and significant changes in monthly income and expenses
- Provide information and assistance to patients to ensure effective patient relations, investigating and proactively resolving patient complaints and concerns
- Liaison with the Central Billing office to maximize revenue associated with the patient billing process for the practice and ensure accurate data collections
- Manage staff regarding the utilization of the Athena system to ensure efficient and accurate billing of encounters
- Manage the day-to-day facilities management for the practice, including any repairs or remodeling, service contracts for equipment, and the inventory of all capital equipment
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
- Two to five years of practice management experience in a private physician's office required
- Must possess current Florida nursing license
- Cardiology experience preferred
- Supervisory experience, billing and financial management experience required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, IDX, and Athena Health
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language fluently required
- Strong interpersonal communication, managerial, and organizational skills required
