Job Summary:

As a Clinical Practice Manager at Steward Health Care, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical practice, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality patient care. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on managing staff, optimizing office workflow, and maintaining compliance with Steward Health Care policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage non-physician staff, including medical assistants, RNs, and secretaries

Collaborate with Steward Medical Group Human Resources staff to perform interviewing, hiring, staff training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions

Manage the re-employment of staff to provide coverage and arrange for emergency float coverage as needed

Assist in preparing and managing the operating budget for the practice, investigating discrepancies and reporting to the Practice Administrator/Director Physician Practice Management and Medical Director as required

Provide information and assistance to patients to ensure effective patient relations, investigating and proactively resolving patient complaints and concerns

Liaise with the Central Billing office to maximize revenue associated with the patient billing process for the Practice and ensure accurate data collections

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred

Two to five years of practice management experience in a private physician's office required

Must possess current Florida nursing license

Cardiology experience preferred

Supervisory experience, billing and financial management experience required

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, IDX, and Athena Health

Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language fluently required

Strong interpersonal communication, managerial, and organizational skills required
