Salary:

The estimated salary range for this role is $68,444-$82,139 annually. Compensation also includes Total Rewards offerings such as time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement.

Job Description:

This is a leadership opportunity to oversee building operations at multiple schools within DPS. The Building Operations Manager will be responsible for managing daily custodial operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance. Key duties include:

* Coordinating staffing, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

* Overseeing budget management for assigned campuses, ensuring effective fiscal management and oversight of supply and overtime accounts

* Developing and implementing quality assurance practices, standards, and metrics to ensure compliance with district policies and regulations

* Collaborating with site-based principals, administrators, faculty, and staff to resolve issues and coordinate activities

* Instructing formalized training courses on personnel management, technology, and business practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A minimum high school diploma; preferred bachelor's degree

* Five or more years of related experience, including supervisory experience, without a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Demonstrated experience performing in a customer service-oriented environment, with compliance to human resource and departmental policies

* Lead for racial and educational excellence, dismantling systems of oppression and inequity, believing in and supporting all students for access to high-quality education
