Denver Public Schools seeks a skilled Construction Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for reviewing and inspecting construction projects, ensuring quality installations that reduce future asset operation and maintenance costs.

About the Job

This position involves actively participating in the quality control/quality assurance program, including review of all projects from design through execution, documentation, progress reporting, conflict resolution, and final acceptance of projects on behalf of the Operations and Maintenance Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluating new/alternate methods and materials as a cost-saving measure
  • Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly tracking reports related to project review, inspection, issue resolution, and compliance documentation
  • Cordinating issue resolution with the Construction Services Project Manager and the Senior Manager of FSS/QAQC
  • Monitoring all projects for safety compliance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience working in a multiple facilities maintenance organization with multiple building trades in a public or private organization
  • Two (2) years training and/or equivalent experience in cost estimating, blueprint reading, business, and public and customer relations
  • Must have a valid Colorado driver's license or be able to obtain a Colorado driver's license within the state's required time frame for new residents and meet the District's insurability requirements
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $63,671 - $76,406 annually. Denver Public Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness benefits, PERA retirement, and more.
