Job Summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/LPN to join our team. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient care management, including vital signs, medical histories, and medication administration.
  • Perform administrative and clinical procedures, such as EKGs, blood pressure readings, and patient education.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Graduate of Practical Nursing program required.
  • Current License as a LPN in the State of Florida.
  • BLS through American Heart Association required.
  • Ability to read and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
  • Knowledge of clinical and/or surgical operations and documentation.
  • Knowledge of patient evaluation and triage procedures.
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids.
  • Proficient with Computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and written.
