Medical Assistant/LPN- Physical Medicine and Rehab Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant/LPN to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team at Baptist Health Care. As a Medical Assistant/LPN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient care management, including vital sign collection, preparation for physician exams, and administration of medications.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Technical Diploma/Certificate in Medical Assisting or Military Training Required
- One year of experience as a Medical Assistant/LPN in a healthcare setting
- Registered Medical Assistant (ARMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA_AAMA) certification
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS) American Heart Association certification
