POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision, this role involves coordinating information, communicating essential details, preparing precast drawings, and executing related tasks as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safeguard confidential and proprietary information
  • Adhere to all occupational safety and health protocols while performing essential duties

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of:

  • Fundamental principles and methodologies of structural drafting
  • Basic construction techniques for precast concrete structures
  • Operation of computers and related equipment
  • Occupational hazards and appropriate safety measures

Skills in:

  • Utilizing drafting software applications (AutoCad/Revit)
  • Mathematics, including algebra and geometry
  • Interpreting contract documents and drawings

Ability to:

  • Complete assignments within established timelines
  • Adapt drafting skills to meet diverse project demands
  • Anticipate challenges that may impact deadlines, costs, and production schedules

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The employee may encounter:

  • Moving mechanical and electrical components

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or manipulate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; bend, kneel, crouch, or twist; talk and hear; and see and focus. The employee must regularly lift and/or move heavy items, weighing up to and exceeding 25 pounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position. Completion of all required company training and certification is necessary before operating any machinery, equipment, or tools. The ability to work overtime on short notice, which may exceed 8 hours per shift and/or 40 hours per week, is essential.
