We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Audiology Department at South Georgia ENT practice. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our ENT physicians and mid-levels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient audiometric testing, fitting, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of audio exam room equipment
- Perform basic comprehensive audio exams and maintain accurate medical record documentation
- Provide support for ENT physicians and mid-levels, as required, and assist with administrative duties
- Maintain inventory, device repairs, and returns, and ensure audio exam room equipment is checked for functionality
- Assist patients with cleaning and checking of hearing aids and schedule and reschedule patient appointments as needed
- Customer service oriented and able to work effectively with pediatric patients
- Team player with great communication skills and flexibility to meet the ever-changing needs of the ENT practice
- Love working with pediatric patients and have a patient-focused approach
