Red Oak Technologies, a leading provider of comprehensive resourcing solutions, is seeking a skilled Senior Compliance Engineer to join its team. This exciting opportunity is based in Austin, TX.

As a Senior Compliance Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing security risks and recommending mitigating controls across multiple projects and products. With 5+ years of experience in security compliance frameworks, you will utilize your expertise in standards such as SOX, PCI-DSS, ISO27K, SOC, and NIST to ensure compliance. Your technical acumen and understanding of cloud, open-sourced distributed systems, and security technologies will enable you to effectively collaborate with teams and drive results.

This role requires strong written communication and technical research skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will develop relationships with different teams at all levels, drive issues to resolution, and contribute to policy reform. Experience working in global organizations with diverse cultural, language, and time zone environments is highly valued.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, a high level of efficiency, and the capacity to work on multiple unrelated topics simultaneously. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and current CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIPT, or related certifications are desired.

We offer a competitive estimated salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. If selected for this position, you will be required to perform all work onsite, based on the client's specified hybrid work schedule (currently onsite 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
