Senior Risk Management Specialist

About the Role:
The Senior Risk Management Specialist will be responsible for performing periodic global risk assessments to identify and mitigate key business risks. This involves managing planning the scope for audits, selecting and developing appropriate audit procedures, executing internal audit engagements, and preparing reports and memorandums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits to ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements, evaluating effectiveness of internal controls.
- Supervise completion of audit programs, questionnaires, and reports.
- Follow up on prior audit findings and work with issue owners to ensure timely completion.
- Review operational structure for maximum efficiency and effectiveness, providing recommendations to improve internal control structures.
- Collaborate with internal and external domain authorities.
- Lead and assist on departmental initiatives as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 8+ years of Audit/Consulting experience and a BA/BS degree.
- Strong presentation and communication skills in English, advanced interviewing skills required.
- Advanced knowledge of auditing processes and procedures.
- Ability to balance detail with departmental goals and objectives.
- Competent interpersonal skills, demonstrating ability to manage projects and mentor others.
- Ability to evaluate business processes and IT technology, identifying risks and evaluating controls.
- Advanced investigative and analytical skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
