We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our emerging technology Product Development team in Portland, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop embedded control software in C/C++">
  • Simulate, verify, and test developed software to ensure it meets technology requirements">
  • Develop system and component level requirements from truck level requirements">
  • Participate in and/or lead code and design reviews">
  • Ability to mentor and lead entry level engineers">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • BS Electrical Engineering/ Computer Engineering / Computer Science">
  • Four years firmware development experience in C programming language">
  • Experience in electrical, embedded control systems">
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills">
">

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Familiarity with RTOS">
  • Familiarity with C development in Linux environment">
  • CAN bus systems (SAE-J1939 or CANOpen) experience">
  • Ability to read schematics and use oscilloscopes/DMMs">
  • Interest in industrial equipment (materials handling, automotive, agricultural, construction, or similar)">
