Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist I to join our team at TCWGlobal. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities in a regulated industry environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manufacturing activities to meet scheduled timelines and support the production of high-quality products.
  • Work with laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, centrifuges, pH meters, and HPLC systems to analyze and conduct tests.
  • Prepare and analyze large-scale Buffer and hemolysate (blood products) according to specified procedures and schedules.
  • Calculate constituents to be added to products, review and record baseline and in-process results, and maintain good laboratory practices.
  • Perform inventory transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manufacture products in accordance with approved written procedures and policies, analyze and present technical data as required.
  • Ensure all required pre-production duties are performed prior to the start of the process.
  • Review and complete batch records.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree in Life Science or a related discipline.
  • Currently residing in the location.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Chemist in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in biotechnology, pharma, or medical device industries is a plus.
  • Experience in working in a regulated industry is a plus.
  • Prior experience in large-scale Bulk manufacturing, EIA plating, and ELISA assay, centrifugation, Autoclaving, Sterilization, and cartridge filtration.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or similar, for managing inventory is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a federally regulated environment.
  • A basic working knowledge of working with high-pressure equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math skills and good documentation skills.
