Insurance Agent Team Member - Sales Producer

A successful State Farm Insurance Agent is seeking a motivated and career-oriented professional to join their team. As an Insurance Agent Team Member, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Requirements:
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • State Farm Agent's Staff experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
  • Self-motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive in problem solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to assess customer needs and conduct effective interviews
  • Ability to effectively relate to a customer
  • Property & Casualty license (required)
  • Life & Health license (must be able to obtain)
