Job Title: College Success Advisor

Steppingstone Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated College Success Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Scholar Support Services team, you will work closely with our Scholars and their families to support their academic and social-emotional growth, from 10th to 12th grade.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with a caseload of Scholars and their families to support their individual needs and post-secondary success.
  • Advise and maintain ongoing contact with Scholars through emails, texts, phone calls, and virtual or in-person meetings to ensure a smooth transition and adjustment to their next grade level.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of resources and opportunities relevant to Scholars to ensure their success in school and in the college application and financial aid processes.
  • Support grade twelve Scholars and their families through the college, financial aid, and scholarship application process.
  • Collaborate with program staff to identify strategies that support Scholars' academic and social growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
  • 1-2+ years of experience working in college counseling preferred.
  • Successful experience working with high school and/or college students in an urban, multicultural setting.
