Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support the clinical needs of our patients and doctors. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to give back to our communities and positively affect patients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist during a variety of treatment procedures, including dental x-rays, setting up and breaking down operatory post-treatment, and executing patient handoffs and monitoring patient flow within the practice.
- Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
- Complete denture soft relines and manufacture temporary crowns, perform quality impressions and bite registrations, and perform digital intraoral scans.
- Support patient charting for doctors and perform various office tasks as necessary.
- Collaborate with the practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice; including x-ray certification if required.
