Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists during various treatment procedures, including taking x-rays and preparing patients for exams
  • Set up and break down operatory equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Execute patient handoffs and monitor patient flow to ensure a smooth experience
  • Manage infection control, preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to maintain good oral health
  • Collaborate with the practice team to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the dental team
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with active license, registration, or permit as required by the state of practice
