Job Title: Senior Hardware Customer Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hardware Customer Quality Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our customer quality assurance team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, collaborating with them on problem resolutions and complaints, and serving as the voice of the customer to our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in and lead conference calls and meetings with customers to discuss quality-related issues
  • Track and report customer quality metrics to both customers and internal management
  • Coordinate and participate in customer audits for NVIDIA HQ and contract manufacturers
  • Assimilate technical details to understand critical issues and provide direction to the working team
  • Craft customer presentations to cover statuses of root cause, risk assessments, corrective actions, and recovery plans
  • Write, review, and edit 8D reports for customer consumption
  • Work cross-functionally with internal organizations to resolve product failures
  • Drive problem resolution by providing leadership and direction
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, quality, or a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics customer quality roles
  • Excellent proficiency with 8D problem-solving tools and methods
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coordinating teams with multiple disciplines
  • Proficient in MS Office software tools, data analytical tools, and email communications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of SMT and PCBA manufacturing practices and controls
  • Background in electronics reliability standards
