A Day in the Life

The Bartender, also known as the Mixologist, is responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages in the Lodge Restaurant. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for opening by inspecting supplies, procuring additional supplies as needed, and preparing garnishes, mixes, and pre-mixed drinks.
  • Greet guests as they enter the bar area and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved recipes and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report any complaints or issues to a manager in a timely manner.
  • Clean and maintain bar equipment, as well as perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of bartending experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
