Job Summary

CityVet is looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Veterinary Technician to assist our veterinarians in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves maintaining accurate records, administering medications, and communicating with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by administering anesthesia and gathering lab specimens.
  • Monitor patients post-operatively and restrain animals during exams.
  • Obtain samples for testing, including stool, blood, and other samples.
  • Test samples and help interpret results.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the veterinary industry.
  • Knowledgeable on veterinary medical terminology and medication.
  • Lift 50 pounds frequently.
