Job Summary

At Baptist Memorial Health Care, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer - PRN to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol the entire campus to deter crime and identify potential security hazards.
  • Respond to all incidents, including disruptive behavior, disturbances, and combative patients.
  • Enforce hospital policy and procedure, as well as state and local laws and ordinances.
  • Submit reports in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Perform escorts for staff, visitors, physicians, and patients as needed.
  • Control parking on the property and ensure compliance with facility policy.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or higher (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 1 year of experience in the security field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Basic computer literacy skills required.
  • Valid driver's license.
