SandsRx is an Independent Specialty Pharmacy seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in Plano, TX. This role involves providing timely and great service to patients and doctors.

This position requires independent performance as it's primary function is to reach out to patients on proactive compliance and ordering calls. Also, this position requires a working knowledge of reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals and providing customer education, and routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle phone calls and correspondence regarding new patient enrollment, insurance verification, medication refill, etc.
  • Perform financial assistance pre-assessment for select therapy management programs and assist with patient enrollment as needed.
  • Place outgoing phone calls to patients, doctors, and insurance companies.
  • Respond to routine inquiries on multiple products from members, providers, pharmacies, and employer groups.
  • Resolve pharmacy issues from members, providers and pharmacies; determine the cause of the issue; select and explain the best solution to solve the issue; expedite correction or adjustment; follow up to ensure resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of call center experience and 4+ years of customer service experience. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills are also required.
